Silverchairare one of Australia’s most successful contemporary rock bands. The group has had more top twenty hits during the last decade than any other local artist and they have sold over six million albums worldwide. In 1994, at the age of only 15, Silverchair got their big break when the band won a national competition called "Pick Me" with the demo of their song, "Tomorrow". Playing that year at Big Day Out as the prize of their win. Silverchair's earlier material could be described as "grunge" and the media was quick to point out comparisons to contemporaries such as Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

Lived too long now youve come to take me
To a place where I can die
Lost my soul lost my confidence in me
Cant be something but Ill try
Lived too long and waited just to drown
In my self pity I keep falling down
(chorus)
Want to be your soldier
Want to be your slave
I have no pride in myself
Only book that I own is called how to lose
Pick a chapter I know them all just choose
Lived too long and waited to find
A place where I can die
Lost my soul lost my confidence in me
Give me something but Ill try
(chorus)
